Guardians of the Galaxy - Monsters After Dark overlay is set to return. The thrilling overlay will run from September 1, 2023, all the way through Halloween, October 31, 2023, providing guests with an extra dose of intergalactic adventure and spine-tingling excitement.
Following the success of previous Halloween overlays, Disney is once again transforming the popular Guardians of the Galaxy - Mission: BREAKOUT! attraction into an eerie and exhilarating experience. As the sun sets and darkness descends upon the park, the Guardians of the Galaxy will face a new otherworldly threat, plunging guests into the heart of a terrifying interstellar rescue mission.
From the moment the overlay launches on September 1st, fans of the Marvel Cinematic Universe and Halloween enthusiasts alike will be able to immerse themselves in this limited-time experience. As Rocket Raccoon's desperate plea for help echoes through the fortress-like façade of the Collector's Fortress, the attraction takes on an entirely new and haunting atmosphere.
In previous iterations of the overlay, the Guardians raced against time to rescue Baby Groot, who had been left behind after the Collector's macabre collection came to life. With chilling soundscapes, special effects, and a revamped storyline, Monsters After Dark promises to deliver an adrenaline-pumping adventure that will leave guests on the edge of their seats.
