The iconic Dole Whip, a favorite treat from Disney Parks, is finally coming to grocery stores near you. Starting in April 2023, packaged Dole Whip will be available at select retailers, according to a rep for Dole Packaged Foods.
The beloved frozen treat was first introduced at Disney World in 1984 and Disneyland in 1986. Now, fans of the pineapple-flavored dessert can enjoy it without having to visit the park. In addition to the classic flavor, three other flavors will also be available: mango, strawberry and lemon.
The news was announced by Dole Sunshine Company in a press release on March 3rd. “We are thrilled to bring this beloved treat to more people than ever before," said Bil Goldfield, Director of Corporate Communications for Dole Packaged Foods LLC. "Dole Whip has been an iconic part of the Disney Parks experience for decades and we are excited that now our fans can enjoy it outside of the parks."
The frozen treats come in four packs and will be sold in the freezer section of grocery stores nationwide.
