Acording to Deadline Christine McCarthy may be the next Disney CEO after Bob Iger today we are going to dive into our thoughts on what this could mean for the company.
“Christine has always been a force to be reckoned with, but you have to put her on a list of top five possibilities after the last few weeks,” a Disney insider said Via Deadline
Christine joined the Walt Disney Company back in 2000 and was appointed CFO in 2015 under Bob Iger, so Bob and Christine have shared multiple years of experience together building the company so it would be of no surprise if Iger supports Christine to take the CEO position, and most companies the CFO would be next in line for the CEO position.
We would also like to add that Christine lead the ousting of former CEO Bob Chapek she lead the board and reached out to Bob Iger so it would make sense that maybe she say a possible future position for herself.
Other possible CEO's
If not Christine who? Our guess Josh D'Amaro. Josh has had a 22 year career with The Walt Disney Company so he is no stranger to how the company has been run both good and bad ways, Josh is currently in charge of Disney Parks Experiences and Products
