Hyundai has teamed up with Walt Disney to create a special edition of the electric IONIQ 5 SUV. The House of Mouse has designed this limited edition vehicle to celebrate Disney's 100th anniversary.
The IONIQ 5 Platinum Concept is an all-electric crossover that features a unique design inspired by the classic Mickey Mouse silhouette. The car also includes special interior details, such as headrests with Mickey Mouse ears, and exterior features like the iconic red shorts on the side mirrors.
The car is powered by two electric motors that generate a combined output of 302 horsepower and 446 lb-ft of torque. It can go from 0 to 60 mph in just 5.2 seconds and has a range of up to 300 miles on a single charge.
In addition, the car comes with several advanced driver assistance systems, including adaptive cruise control, lane keep assist, blind spot detection, and rear cross traffic alert. It also features an infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility.
The IONIQ 5 Platinum Concept will be available later this year at select dealerships in North America and Europe. Pricing information has not yet been released but it is expected to be competitively priced compared to other electric vehicles on the market.
